Starburst Galaxy

Starburst Galaxy is the cosmic sequel to the original Starburst, setting its reels out among the stars for a trip across the wider universe.

The action plays out on a 5 x 5 grid that can expand to 7 x 7 during certain features. Wins land when three or more matching symbols line up vertically or horizontally with no gaps between them, anywhere on the reels.

Every win sets off an Avalanche™: the winning symbols vanish and new ones drop into the empty spaces above them.

Volatility sits in the med-high range with an RTP value of 94%. RTP is a theoretical figure calculated across a very large number of spins, so it describes long-term averages rather than what happens in any single session.

Game Features

Feature Generator

In the main game, each winning combination adds progress to the Feature Generator. Every five consecutive winning combinations randomly award one of the following five features, one at a time:

• Destroy: removes one or more random symbol types from the reels, showing them the airlock without much ceremony.
• Random Wilds: replaces between three and nine payout symbols on the reels with Wilds.
• Expanding Wilds: turns every Wild on the reels into three Wilds stacked vertically.
• Line Transform: fills a row or a reel with one randomly chosen payout symbol.
• Upgrade: upgrades one or more random symbols of the same type into a symbol type with a higher payout value.

Galaxy Star and Galaxy Metre

The Galaxy Star activates when the fifth feature in the Feature Generator is triggered. The play area opens out to 7 x 7 reels with a 3x3 Starburst Wild placed at random.

Once wins are evaluated, all winning symbols disappear and between four and eight regular Wilds appear. When the Galaxy Star finishes, any features still waiting in the Feature Generator activate.

The Galaxy Metre starts up when the 3x3 Wild appears. Each win adds to the metre, and reaching 50 awards the Galaxy Star again.

Mega Star and Multiplier Collect Metre

The Mega Star activates when three Scatters land on the reels in the same spin. A 2x2 Starburst Wild is placed at random, and after wins are evaluated the winning symbols disappear while two to five regular Wilds appear.

Some Scatters may carry multipliers when the Mega Star triggers. Those multipliers begin the Multiplier Collect Metre, which applies to all wins until the end of the game round.

Elevate Feature

The Elevate Feature allows one in-game feature to be activated per game round, chosen from five options:

• Bonus Boost: increases the chance of reaching the Galaxy Star.
• Mega Star: activates the Mega Star, with one free main game spin set to land three Scatters.
• Boosted Mega Star: activates both the Mega Star and the Multiplier Collect Metre, with one free main game spin set to land three Scatters that trigger the Mega Star, at least two of them carrying multipliers.
• Galaxy Star: leads to the Galaxy Star feature.
• Galaxy Star Bonanza: starts the Galaxy Star with five features already awarded in the Feature Generator.

Wilds

When a winning combination disappears, a Wild is placed in its centre. If that combination held an even number of symbols, the Wild takes the central left position on horizontal wins and the central higher position on vertical wins.

Where two winning combinations intersect, at least one Wild lands in their central position. Wilds substitute for any symbol except Scatters and can help form wins alongside other symbols. If three, four or five Wilds line up but cannot combine with other symbols, they pay the highest prize shown for them in the paytable.
